Miriam Němcová
Miriam Němcová graduated on Prague Conservatory and on the Music Academy in Prague – subject field composition and conducting. She has been a grantee at Czech Philharmony Prague Madrigalists and has won a grant at Bach-Academy, Stuttgart by prof. H. Riling several times. After coming back from a half year scholarship in Paris (1989) Miriam Němcová has been involved in Chamber Oper Prague and in F. X. Šalda Theater in Liberec where she returned to as a opera director in 1991. In 1993 she was offered a conductors and choir leaders contract in State Opera Prague.
Since September 1995 Miriam Němcová is conducting professoress at Prague Conservatory where she is a mistress of a symphonic orchestra as well. In addition to this she is still devoted to concerts activities in the Czech Republic and abroad as a guest conductor or as an artistic leader of orchestra PRAGA SINFONIETTA and of a choir VOX PRAGAE. Since year 2001 she is a permanent conductor of Philharmonic Hradec Kralové.
